No output when running test patterns

I have tried on the Lightburn forum but I cannot get an answer that works so let’s try here.

I have a 10w Mk 2 DIY kit laser cutter. All of the internal test patterns etch and cut correctly so there is nothing wqrong with the machine. However, nothing works using Lightburn - the nearest I can get is this when running the test pattern.

Can anyone suggest settings I should use for this 10w machine. If you could tell me the settings on the samples that would help.

Hello,

I use LightBurn and have not had any problems of this kind. This makes me think of a wrong speed/power setting.

Check in the settings if you are in mm/min (or inches/mm/min) and not mm/sec
